Education costs in Vietnam increased by 0.02 percent in February, driven by higher stationery and school supply prices, according to Vietnam’s Consumer Price Index.

Food and beverage service costs in Vietnam increased by 0.43 percent in January, contributing 0.14 percentage points to the Vietnam’s Consumer Price Index. The rise was driven by higher prices for prepared food and dining services, while raw food prices declined, according a press release from the General Office of Statistics (GSO).
Vietnam’s LPG imports plunge 59.28 percent in February 2025
Vietnam’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports saw a sharp decline of 59.28 percent month-on-month in February, totaling US$63.51 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This marks a significant drop from the US$155.97 million recorded in January, bringing year-to-date imports to US$220.04 million.
