Vietnam’s yarn exports decline in November

Vietnam’s yarn exports totaled US$367.71 million in November, marking a 7.54 percent month-on-month decrease, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Year-to-date exports amounted to US$4.02 billion. China remained the top importer with US$1.95 billion, despite an 8.59 percent drop from the previous month. South Korea and Bangladesh followed, with exports valued at US$402.29 million and US$175.27 million, respectively. The United States imported US$174.13 million, showing a moderate 3.61 percent decline, while Indonesia bucked the trend with an 18.02 percent growth, importing US$99.31 million.

The decrease in November’s export figures underscores a slowdown in global textile demand. However, Vietnam’s strong trade relationships and diversified client base offer resilience for the industry in the longer term.
