ToggleVietnam’s stock market surged on 4 November 2025, with the VN-Index climbing 34.98 points, or 2.16 percent, to close at 1,651.98, with foreign traders net-buying US$45.73 millions worth of stocks, according to the latest data from the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange → view source.
Total market liquidity reached VND 34.24 trillion or US$1.30 billion, reflecting improved investor sentiment across the board.
The VN30 Index advanced 2.16 percent to 1,897.71, while the VNALLSHARE and VNXALLSHARE indices gained 2.58 percent and 2.61 percent, respectively.
Mid-cap stocks outperformed, with the VNMIDCAP rising 2.95 percent to 2,345.44.

Most traded
Vietnam’s most actively traded stocks on 4 November 2025 were led by SHB, which saw nearly 965 million shares exchanged and rose 2.19 percent to close at VND 16,300, with a trading value of VND 1.53 trillion.
VIX climbed 6.91 percent to VND 27,850 on heavy turnover of 632 million shares, totalling VND 1.70 trillion.
SSI gained 6.92 percent to VND 34,750, with volume reaching 578 million shares worth VND 1.94 trillion, making it the most valuable trade of the session.
KHG advanced 4.69 percent to VND 8,700 with 432 million shares changing hands, while MBB rose 3.90 percent to VND 24,000 on 382 million shares traded.

Foreign trading
Foreign investors were net buyers on 4 November 2025, purchasing VND 4.81 trillion or US$182.62 million worth of shares while selling VND 3.61 trillion or US$136.89 million.
This resulted in a net inflow of VND 1.21 trillion or US$45.73 million.
Year-to-date, however, foreign investors remained net sellers with an accumulated outflow of about US$4.54 billion.

Vietnam stocks most bought by foreign traders
Foreign investors focused buying on brokerage and banking stocks on 4 November 2025, led by VIX, which surged 8.37 percent to VND 27,850 with a net purchase of 12.46 million shares.
VPB followed with strong demand, rising 7.08 percent to VND 29,500 as foreigners accumulated 5.78 million shares.
ACB gained 2.16 percent to VND 26,000, supported by net foreign buying of 5.13 million shares.
DXG advanced 7.75 percent to VND 20,150 with 2.49 million shares net bought.
MBB also saw steady inflows, adding 2.13 percent to VND 24,000 with net foreign buying of 672,000 shares.

Vietnam stocks most sold by foreign traders
Foreign investors’ largest sales centred on banking and retail stocks, led by HDB, which rose 1.80 percent to VND 31,100 despite net selling of 5.65 million shares.
TCB gained 4.17 percent to VND 35,000 with 1.48 million shares net sold, while SSI advanced 7.25 percent to VND 34,750 but still recorded a foreign net outflow of 687,000 shares.
MWG closed up 1.11 percent at VND 81,800 as foreign investors offloaded 463,000 shares.
MBB saw both high buying and selling activity, ending with a modest net inflow of 672,000 shares.
