The VN30 closed at 1,770.16, up 29.11 points or 1.67 percent, with a total trading value of VND 10,776.39 billion or US$408.97 million.
The VNMIDCAP closed at 2,076.57, up 56.62 points or 2.80 percent, with a total trading value of VND 7,544.59 billion or US$286.32 million.

VPB followed in second place with 299,989 million shares changing hands, worth VND 752,578 million, with the stock climbing 5.21 percent to VND 25,250.
