Vietnam’s tyre cord fabrics and other technical fabrics exports remain stable in February 2025

Vietnam’s exports of tyre cord fabrics and other fabrics for technical uses remained relatively stable in February, with only a slight decrease of 0.05 percent compared to January, amounting to US$60.59 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s total exports of tyre cord fabrics for 2025 have reached US$121.20 million, showing a moderate demand from key markets.

The export stability was primarily due to a 7.64 percent increase in shipments to the USA, which accounted for 26.13 percent of the total exports. Meanwhile, exports to South Korea, Japan, and Canada saw notable declines. However, exports to Thailand surged by 32.68 percent, and exports to Brazil increased by 33.00 percent.
