Vietnam’s toys and sports requisites exports rise by 2.66 percent in December

Vietnam’s exports of toys and sports requisites, including parts and accessories, increased by 2.66 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$315.02 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s toys and sports requisites exports total US$3.76 billion for 2024, demonstrating strong global demand despite minor fluctuations.

The rise in exports was driven by a significant increase in shipments to the USA, which saw a 17.40 percent growth, amounting to US$165.24 million. Exports to the Netherlands, Canada, and Australia also showed strong growth, increasing by 33.23 percent, 15.31 percent, and 11.34 percent, respectively.

However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to Japan, the UK, and Mexico dropped by 32.17 percent, 13.77 percent, and 30.36 percent, respectively.
