Vietnam’s technical fabric exports grow in October, strong YTD performance continues

Vietnam’s exports of tyre cord fabrics and other technical fabrics reached US$62.85 million in October 2024, reflecting an 8.2 percent increase compared to September’s US$58.09 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. The growth indicates steady demand for these specialised materials in international markets.

Year-to-date performance shows robust growth. From January to October, exports in this category totalled US$650.34 million, an 18.2 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.

The strong year-to-date growth highlights Vietnam’s expanding capabilities in producing high-quality technical fabrics, catering to industries such as automotive and manufacturing. October’s increase reinforces the sector’s potential for sustained growth, supported by innovation and expanding global demand.
