Vietnam imported US$867.03 million worth of telephones, mobile phones and parts in March, rising 4.79 percent from February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This brought the year-to-date total to US$2.55 billion.
China dominated the market with US$782.56 million in shipments, accounting for 88.48 percent of total imports. South Korea followed with US$24.13 million, while Taiwan, India, and Japan contributed smaller volumes. Imports from the UK, Hong Kong and USA remained marginal.
