Vietnam imported US$104.80 million worth of paper products in March, a 37.03 percent increase from February, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This brought total imports for the year to US$256.34 million.
China remained the dominant supplier, accounting for over 71 percent of the total with US$77.75 million in shipments, up nearly 58 percent month-on-month. Imports from Indonesia rose 47.43 percent to US$3.51 million, while those from Taiwan and Malaysia also posted double-digit gains. Conversely, South Korea, Japan, and the USA saw notable declines.
