Vietnam imported liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) worth US$183.18 million in March, rising 188.42 percent from February. Total imports for the year-to-date reached US$403.62 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Malaysia was the top supplier, contributing US$51.65 million, up 127.85 percent from February. Other notable sources included Kuwait at US$28.81 million, China at US$15.69 million, and the UAE with US$14.81 million. The ‘Other’ category recorded a sharp spike, surging over 3,200 percent month-on-month to US$61.14 million. Imports from Australia, in contrast, fell 70.76 percent to US$1.66 million.
