Vietnam’s exports of paper and paper products increased by 4.56 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$175.41 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s paper and paper products exports total US$2.1 billion for 2024.
The rise in exports was primarily driven by a significant increase in shipments to the USA, which saw a 9.93 percent growth, amounting to US$50.93 million. Exports to China and Cambodia also showed positive growth, with increases of 22.20 percent and 11.35 percent, respectively.
However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand dropped by 57.05 percent, 5.21 percent, and 13.80 percent, respectively.
