Vietnam’s milk powder production increases by 14.8% in February 2025

Vietnam’s milk powder production has experienced positive growth in the first two months of 2025. According to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Office of Statistics, the country produced 10,300 tons of milk powder in January 2025. In February, this figure increased slightly to 11,000 tons.

The cumulative total for the first two months of the year reached 21,300 tons. This represents a 14.8 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the year-to-date figure reflects a 1.6 percent increase when compared to the first two months of 2024, indicating steady growth in the milk powder sector.

The main production areas for milk powder in Vietnam are concentrated in the northern and central regions, where large-scale dairy farms and processing plants are located. The industry continues to modernise and enhance production capacity to meet the growing demand for dairy products.
