Vietnam’s exports of insulated wires and cables decline by 3.05 percent in February 2025

Vietnam’s exports of insulated wires and cables fell by 3.05 percent in February 2025 compared to January, reaching US$292.69 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s exports in this category total US$595.92 million for 2025, reflecting a decrease in month-on-month exports.

The drop in exports was driven by declines in key markets, such as the USA and China, with exports to the USA decreasing by 4.80 percent, amounting to US$94.86 million, and exports to China dropping by 11.98 percent, reaching US$53.21 million. On the other hand, exports to South Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong showed positive growth, rising by 8.67 percent, 0.08 percent, and 16.25 percent, respectively.
