China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $83,741,627.
This represents a 2.77 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $446,372,738, accounting for 67.04 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Malaysia
Malaysia followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $12,636,661.
This figure indicates an 8.43 percent month-on-month change.
Malaysia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $58,299,869, representing 8.76 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in June with imports totaling $5,796,383.
This indicates a 2.09 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of glass and glassware is $35,812,046, making up 5.38 percent of the total YTD imports.
Thailand
Thailand contributed $4,192,235 worth of glass and glassware in June.
Notably, Thailand experienced a -5.60 percent month-on-month decrease.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $29,631,771, accounting for 4.45 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Japan
Japan rounded out the top five import sources with $3,463,023 in June imports.
