Vietnam’s imports of paper products decreased by 28.52 percent month-on-month in January, reaching US$75.05 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. This follows a decline from US$105 million recorded in December.

Year-to-date, Vietnam’s total imports of paper products stood at US$75.05 million. China remained the largest supplier, contributing US$57.16 million, or 76.2 percent of the total, followed by South Korea with US$4.06 million and Thailand with US$3.68 million.

Among major suppliers, Hong Kong recorded the highest month-on-month growth, increasing by 1.81 percent. In contrast, Singapore saw the sharpest decline, with imports falling 68.26 percent.
