Vietnam’s fresh milk production has shown positive growth in the first two months of 2025. According to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Office of Statistics, the country produced 132 million litres of fresh milk in January 2025. In February, this figure increased slightly to 133.9 million litres.
The cumulative total for the first two months of the year reached 266 million litres. This represents a 12.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the year-to-date figure reflects a 5.8 percent increase when compared to the first two months of 2024, indicating continued growth in the dairy industry.
Vietnam’s fresh milk production continues to rise as demand for dairy products increases both domestically and abroad.
The primary areas for fresh milk production in Vietnam are located in the northern and central regions, with key provinces such as Ha Nam, Nghe An, and Lam Dong leading the dairy farming sector. Efforts to improve milk yield and expand production capacity are helping to meet the growing market demand.
