In November, Vietnam’s crude oil exports increased by 27.4 percent month-on-month, reaching US$93.38 million, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs. Year-to-date exports stood at US$1.62 billion, marking a robust contribution from the sector despite market fluctuations.
Thailand remained the leading importer, receiving US$47.24 million in November, a slight increase of 0.31 percent from the previous month, and contributing to a year-to-date total of US$669.20 million. Australia followed with exports of US$46.13 million, entering the market for the first time this year. Other notable markets, including Japan, China, and South Korea, recorded minimal or no activity in November.
The crude oil sector displayed resilience, with growth driven by increased demand from regional partners like Thailand and the re-entry of Australia as a key market.
