Vietnam’s crude oil exports increased by 22.86 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$114.72 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Vietnam’s exports of crude oil total US$1.73 billion for 2024.
The month-on-month increase was driven by significant growth in exports to Australia, which saw a 65.15 percent rise, amounting to US$76.19 million. Exports to South Korea also showed a positive increase, reaching US$15.69 million.
However, exports to Thailand dropped by 100 percent, indicating a significant decline in demand from that market in December.
