Vietnam’s production of corrugated paper, corrugated cardboard, and packaging from paper and cardboard increased by 1.9 percent in December 2024 compared to November 2024, according to Vietnam’s Industrial Production Index.
Year-on-year, the sector recorded an 11.3 percent growth in December 2024 compared to December 2023. For the full year, cumulative growth reached 7.4 percent in 2024 compared to 2023, demonstrating strong performance across this vital industry.
The December increase reflects steady demand during the holiday season and heightened industrial and retail activity. The annual growth showcases the expanding role of corrugated products in packaging, especially with the rise of e-commerce and demand for sustainable materials.
