Vietnam’s coffee exports rise by 95.36 percent in December

Vietnam’s coffee exports increased by 95.36 percent in December compared to November, reaching US$687.03 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

Vietnam’s exports of coffee total US$5.62 billion for 2024, reflecting strong demand in key markets.

The month-on-month increase was driven by impressive growth in exports to Germany, which saw a 127.72 percent rise, amounting to US$67.29 million. The Netherlands also showed substantial growth, with exports increasing by 196.35 percent, reaching US$58.17 million. Exports to Japan and Italy also showed positive growth, with exports increasing by 234.04 percent and 76.26 percent, respectively.

However, some markets experienced a decline. Exports to Spain dropped by 14.57 percent, amounting to US$34.94 million.
