Vietnam’s cellular phone production has seen positive growth in the first two months of 2025. According to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Office of Statistics, the country produced 15.9 million pieces of cellular phones in January 2025. In February, this figure decreased slightly to 14.8 million pieces.
The cumulative total for the first two months of the year reached 30.7 million pieces. This represents an 8.7 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the year-to-date figure reflects a 3.1 percent increase when compared to the first two months of 2024, indicating steady growth in the cellular phone sector.
The production of cellular phones is concentrated in industrial zones, particularly in the northern regions, such as Bac Ninh and Hai Phong, where major factories focus on assembling and manufacturing mobile devices for global markets.
