Vietnam’s bamboo and rattan exports surged by 39.20 percent in March compared to February, reaching US$78.44 million, according to data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Total exports of bamboo and rattan products for 2025 have reached US$209.18 million, driven by strong demand from major markets.
The USA remained the top destination, accounting for nearly 44 percent of total exports for the year so far, with shipments rising by 52.23 percent month-on-month. Exports to Spain more than doubled, up by 117.46 percent, while exports to South Korea, Germany, and Australia also saw sharp increases. In contrast, Italy and Brazil recorded notable declines.
