Vietnam’s aluminum production has seen a positive growth in the first two months of 2025. According to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Office of Statistics, the country produced 0.129 million tons of aluminum in January 2025. In February, this figure decreased slightly to 0.121 million tons.
The cumulative total for the first two months of the year reached 0.249 million tons. This represents a 5.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the year-to-date figure reflects a 4.0 percent increase when compared to the first two months of 2024, indicating steady growth in the industry.
Aluminum production in Vietnam is primarily concentrated in the northern and central regions, where key facilities focus on meeting both industrial and commercial needs. The sector is expanding as the demand for aluminum products increases in various industries, including automotive, construction, and packaging.
