Vietnam’s animal feed industry
Vietnam’s animal feed industry is one of the largest in Southeast Asia, supplying feed for the country’s pork, poultry and aquaculture sectors.
Production has expanded alongside rising domestic meat consumption and export-oriented seafood farming, supported by both local firms and foreign-invested manufacturers.
The market is dominated by a mix of multinational companies and large domestic producers, with significant capacity concentrated around key livestock and aquaculture regions.
Feed formulations rely heavily on imported raw materials such as corn and soybean meal, making the sector sensitive to global commodity price fluctuations and exchange rate movements.
