Vietnam exported US$800.86 million worth of goods to the UK in August, down 0.51 percent from July, according to Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
Year-to-date exports totalled US$5.48 billion.
Telephones, mobile phones and parts led at US$149.53 million, down 9.71 percent month-on-month.
Computers and electrical products followed with US$145.39 million, rising 53.03 percent.
Machinery exports reached US$87.39 million, down 17.34 percent.
Textiles and garments were US$75.51 million, slipping 15.28 percent, while footwear dropped 25.45 percent to US$74.17 million.
Fishery products increased 8.00 percent to US$35.90 million.
Other notable categories included toys and sports requisites at US$41.02 million, wood products at US$20.61 million, and coffee at US$11.53 million.
