This represents a -1.97 percent decrease compared to June, contributing to a year-to-date total of $3,275,491,713.
Here are the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s iron and steel products exports in July 2025:
USA
The USA was Vietnam’s largest export market for these products in July, with values totaling $152,205,953.
This marks a 13.48 percent month-on-month increase from June.
The USA’s year-to-date total stands at $870,860,422, accounting for 26.59 percent of all YTD exports.
Japan
Japan was the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $53,534,482.
This represents a 3.11 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $360,299,290, making up 11.00 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Taiwan
Taiwan secured the third position in July with exports totaling $22,564,848.
This indicates a significant -70.92 percent month-on-month decrease.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports is $407,965,348, making up 12.46 percent of the total YTD exports.
South Korea
South Korea contributed $19,558,540 worth of iron and steel products in July.
This country saw a 14.10 percent month-on-month increase.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $113,149,378, accounting for 3.45 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Australia
Australia rounded out the top five export destinations with $18,153,063 in July exports.
This country saw a -20.57 percent month-on-month decrease.
Australia’s year-to-date total for these exports is $142,194,293, representing 4.34 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
