Resources: China, Malaysia top export destinations for Vietnam ore and other minerals product in July

Vietnam’s exports of ores and other minerals product totaled $12,257,812 in July 2025, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

This represents a -39.75 percent decrease compared to June, which contributed to a year-to-date total of $118,509,147.

Here are the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s ores and other minerals product exports in July 2025:

China

China was thelargest destination, with July exports valued at $2,020,240.

This represents a substantial -85.63 percent month-on-month decrease from June.

China’s year-to-date total for these exports is $52,793,973, making up 44.55 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.

Malaysia

Malaysia secured the second position in July with exports totaling $1,421,759.

This indicates a remarkable 855.07 percent month-on-month increase.

Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports is $8,287,633, making up 6.99 percent of the total YTD exports.

Japan

Japan contributed $632,830 worth of ores and other minerals product in July.

This country saw a -75.03 percent month-on-month decrease.

Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $10,749,987, accounting for 9.07 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.

Taiwan

Taiwan rounded out the top export destinations with $462,853 in July exports.

This country saw a 75.20 percent month-on-month increase.

Taiwan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $5,333,733, representing 4.50 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
