Despite the marginal month-on-month decrease, several countries remain vital suppliers to Vietnam, with the year-to-date total for this product category standing at $593,277,134.
In June 2025, the top five sources by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of rubber products were:
China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $55,119,698.
This represents a -6.17 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $306,889,868, accounting for 51.73 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Japan
Japan followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $11,696,865.
This figure indicates a 1.39 percent month-on-month change.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $65,811,882, representing 11.09 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in June with imports totaling $9,198,872.
This indicates a -4.98 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of rubber products is $53,622,231, making up 9.04 percent of the total YTD imports.
Thailand
Thailand contributed $6,863,728 worth of rubber products in June.
Notably, Thailand experienced a -9.91 percent month-on-month decrease.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $46,086,678, accounting for 7.77 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Malaysia
Malaysia rounded out the top five import sources with $3,627,134 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 17.56 percent month-on-month increase.
Malaysia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $19,744,125, representing 3.33 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
