In June 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of chemical products were:
China
China emerged as the top destination in June, with export values reaching $33,232,494.
This represents a -12.14 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $205,301,204, accounting for 14.48 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
Laos
Laos followed as the second-largest destination, with June exports valued at $28,214,628.
This figure indicates a -17.80 percent month-on-month change.
Laos’s year-to-date total for these exports is $309,479,980, representing 21.82 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
Indonesia
Indonesia secured the third position in June with exports totaling $24,891,126.
This indicates a 25.41 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of chemical products is $139,440,314, making up 9.83 percent of the total YTD exports.
Other
The “Other” category contributed $29,487,551 worth of chemical products in June.
Notably, the “Other” category experienced a 0.49 percent month-on-month increase.
The “Other” category’s year-to-date total for these exports is $165,815,324, accounting for 11.69 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
India
India rounded out the top five export destinations with $14,964,194 in June exports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 4.83 percent month-on-month increase.
India’s year-to-date total for these exports is $77,929,262, representing 5.50 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
