Despite the marginal month-on-month decrease, several countries remain vital suppliers to Vietnam, with the year-to-date total for this product category standing at $1,427,076,517.
In June 2025, the top five sources by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of rubber were:
Cambodia
Cambodia emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $76,572,359.
This represents a 3.52 percent month-on-month change from May.
Cambodia’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $424,781,588, accounting for 29.77 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
China
China followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $38,072,231.
This figure indicates a -9.10 percent month-on-month change.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports is $231,870,490, representing 16.25 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in June with imports totaling $24,552,565.
This indicates a -1.82 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of rubber is $155,544,020, making up 10.90 percent of the total YTD imports.
Laos
Laos contributed $20,116,315 worth of rubber in June.
Notably, Laos experienced a 42.34 percent month-on-month increase.
Laos’s year-to-date total for these imports is $112,922,581, accounting for 7.91 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Thailand
Thailand rounded out the top five import sources with $20,056,406 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 29.98 percent month-on-month increase.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $91,227,380, representing 6.39 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
