China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $33,256,035.
This represents a 1.30 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $192,240,917, accounting for 74.34 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
India
India followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $4,865,470.
This figure indicates a -20.02 percent month-on-month change.
India’s year-to-date total for these imports is $40,578,824, representing 15.69 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in June with imports totaling $1,342,786.
This indicates a 935.12 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of pharmaceutical materials is $2,753,973, making up 1.06 percent of the total YTD imports.
Italy
Italy contributed $924,664 worth of pharmaceutical materials in June.
Notably, Italy experienced a 78.82 percent month-on-month increase.
Italy’s year-to-date total for these imports is $3,267,317, accounting for 1.26 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Switzerland
Switzerland rounded out the top five import sources with $312,590 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 253.50 percent month-on-month increase.
Switzerland’s year-to-date total for these imports is $2,223,175, representing 0.86 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
