This substantial month-on-month increase contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category standing at $2,130,862,423.
In June 2025, the top five sources by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of pharmaceutical products were:
France
France emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $71,699,246.
This represents a 60.58 percent month-on-month change from May.
France’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $238,252,443, accounting for 11.18 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
USA
The USA followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $63,976,750.
This figure indicates a 44.34 percent month-on-month change.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $258,672,627, representing 12.14 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Ireland
Ireland secured the third position in June with imports totaling $49,514,520.
This indicates a 124.52 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of pharmaceutical products is $111,465,412, making up 5.23 percent of the total YTD imports.
Germany
Germany contributed $34,263,705 worth of pharmaceutical products in June.
Notably, Germany experienced a -25.09 percent month-on-month decrease.
Germany’s year-to-date total for these imports is $225,499,782, accounting for 10.58 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Italy
Italy rounded out the top five import sources with $34,117,631 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 46.02 percent month-on-month increase.
Italy’s year-to-date total for these imports is $158,369,758, representing 7.43 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
