China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $82,048,575.
This represents a -6.59 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $453,083,216, accounting for 38.64 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Indonesia
Indonesia followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $27,180,936.
This figure indicates a -15.42 percent month-on-month change.
Indonesia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $173,610,394, representing 14.81 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in June with imports totaling $19,471,371.
This indicates an -11.33 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of paper is $126,431,442, making up 10.78 percent of the total YTD imports.
Japan
Japan contributed $17,774,692 worth of paper in June.
Notably, Japan experienced an -8.41 percent month-on-month decrease.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $114,478,802, accounting for 9.76 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Malaysia
Malaysia rounded out the top five import sources with $13,340,599 in June imports.
This country saw a -1.98 percent month-on-month decrease.
Malaysia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $76,929,141, representing 6.56 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
