China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $145,240,420.
This represents a 126.67 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $402,008,646, accounting for 38.24 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Russia
Russia followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $52,403,542.
This figure indicates a 26.83 percent month-on-month change.
Russia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $221,668,597, representing 21.09 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Canada
Canada secured the third position in June with imports totaling $16,675,267.
This indicates a 50.34 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of fertilizers is $37,449,620, making up 3.56 percent of the total YTD imports.
South Korea
South Korea contributed $11,249,062 worth of fertilizers in June.
Notably, South Korea experienced a 134.32 percent month-on-month increase.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $48,651,581, accounting for 4.63 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Laos
Laos rounded out the top five import sources with $9,862,772 in June imports.
This country saw a -27.16 percent month-on-month decrease.
Laos’s year-to-date total for these imports is $64,282,591, representing 6.11 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
