This month-on-month decline contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category standing at $1,174,535,286.

The “Other” category emerged as the top destination in June, with export values reaching $48,155,886.
This represents a -17.44 percent month-on-month change from May.
The “Other” category’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $344,637,272, accounting for 29.34 percent of all YTD plastics exports.
Indonesia
Indonesia followed as the second-largest destination, with June exports valued at $19,455,695.
This figure indicates a -1.01 percent month-on-month change.
Indonesia’s year-to-date total for these exports is $146,980,489, representing 12.51 percent of the total YTD plastics exports.
China
China secured the third position in June with exports totaling $18,825,021.
This indicates a -3.26 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s plastics exports is $116,063,704, making up 9.88 percent of the total YTD exports.
Japan
Japan contributed $18,301,796 worth of plastics in June.
Notably, Japan experienced a -4.21 percent month-on-month decrease.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $98,352,160, accounting for 8.37 percent of the total YTD plastics exports.
Italy
Italy rounded out the top five export destinations with $13,961,253 in June exports.
This country saw a significant -26.62 percent month-on-month decrease.
Italy’s year-to-date total for these exports is $84,177,739, representing 7.17 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
