Manufacturing: USA, Japan top export destinations for Vietnam tyre cord and technical fabrics in July

Vietnam’s exports of tyre cord and technical fabrics totaled $60,779,755 in July 2025, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.

This represents an 11.58 percent increase compared to June, which contributed to a year-to-date total of $441,731,466.

Here are the top destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s tyre cord and technical fabrics exports in July 2025:

USA

The USA was the largest destination, with July exports valued at $14,209,925.

This represents a 43.10 percent month-on-month increase from June.

The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports is $112,741,264, making up 25.52 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.

Japan

Japan secured the second position in July with exports totaling $6,181,098.

This indicates a 1.70 percent month-on-month increase.

Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports is $36,510,674, making up 8.27 percent of the total YTD exports.

South Korea

South Korea contributed $5,140,267 worth of tyre cord and technical fabrics in July.

This country saw an 8.62 percent month-on-month increase.

South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $43,187,769, accounting for 9.78 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.

Thailand

Thailand rounded out the top export destinations with $3,583,182 in July exports.

This country saw a -5.06 percent month-on-month decrease.

Thailand’s year-to-date total for these exports is $26,772,420, representing 6.06 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
