Vietnam produced 75.15 thousand tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in February, up 21.82 percent from 61.69 thousand tons in January, according to the latest data from the National Statistics Office.
Year-to-date output reached 136.84 thousand tons by the end of February.

LNG shipment received
Vietnam Gas Corporation received its first liquefied natural gas cargo of 2026 at the Thi Vai terminal, with 63,000 tons delivered.
The cargo originated from the Middle East and passed through the Strait of Hormuz before the United States-Israel conflict with Iran began.
The company has contracted two liquefied natural gas cargoes for the first half of 2026 and is seeking a supplier for a third. Read more→
Gas prices jump
Retail liquefied petroleum gas prices in Vietnam have risen sharply since early March as import disruptions reduce supply.
