Electronic products sector records strong growth in November

The Industrial Production Index (IPI) for electronic products, computers, and optical products rose by 6.33 percent in November compared to October, according to Vietnam’s General Statistics Office. This reflects consistent monthly growth in one of Vietnam’s leading sectors.

Year-on-year, the industry recorded an 11.95 percent increase in November 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. Cumulative growth over the first 11 months of 2024 reached 8.72 percent, underscoring the sector’s robust performance.

This growth is fuelled by increasing global demand for computers, smartphones, and optical equipment, supported by Vietnam’s growing role in global supply chains. Investments in advanced production technologies further enhance the industry’s potential.

Electronic products remain a cornerstone of Vietnam’s industrial economy, driving both exports and technological innovation. Sustained efforts in production capacity and market expansion will ensure future success.
