Despite the month-on-month decrease, this product category’s year-to-date total stands at a robust $4,238,506,336.
In July 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of iron and steel were:
India
India was the top destination in July, with export values reaching $71,873,151.
This represents a -14.89 percent month-on-month decrease from June.
India’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $420,352,875, accounting for 9.92 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
Cambodia
Cambodia followed as the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $70,173,821.
This figure indicates an -8.74 percent month-on-month decrease.
Cambodia’s year-to-date total for these exports is $508,011,465, representing 11.99 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
Italy
Italy secured the third position in July with exports totaling $54,861,123.
This indicates a -37.66 percent month-on-month decrease.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of iron and steel is $413,553,531, making up 9.76 percent of the total YTD exports.
USA
The USA contributed $46,563,168 worth of these products in July.
Notably, the USA experienced a 31.85 percent month-on-month increase.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports is $390,066,578, accounting for 9.20 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Spain
Spain rounded out the top five export destinations with $40,519,885 in July exports.
This country saw a 55.06 percent month-on-month increase.
Spain’s year-to-date total for these exports is $189,085,917, representing 4.46 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
