This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $2,609,736,780.
In July 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of luggage, headgear and umbrellas were:
USA
The USA was the top destination in July, with export values reaching $189,923,165.
This represents a 4.31 percent month-on-month increase from June.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $1,128,575,893, accounting for 43.24 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
Japan
Japan followed as the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $35,523,974.
This figure indicates an -8.01 percent month-on-month decrease.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $244,994,038, representing 9.39 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
Netherlands
The Netherlands secured the third position in July with exports totaling $23,679,711.
This indicates a 2.45 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of luggage, headgear and umbrellas is $175,008,700, making up 6.71 percent of the total YTD exports.
Germany
Germany contributed $17,330,157 worth of these products in July.
Notably, Germany experienced a 17.77 percent month-on-month increase.
Germany’s year-to-date total for these exports is $116,241,441, accounting for 4.45 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
China
China rounded out the top five export destinations with $16,880,859 in July exports.
This country saw a -5.57 percent month-on-month decrease.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports is $92,705,024, representing 3.55 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
