Despite the overall month-on-month decrease, several countries remain vital suppliers to Vietnam, with the year-to-date total for this product category standing at $1,394,704,410.

China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $168,304,094.
This represents a -5.08 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $938,353,034, accounting for 67.28 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Taiwan
Taiwan followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $13,503,057.
This figure indicates a -15.77 percent month-on-month change.
Taiwan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $103,295,296, representing 7.41 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in June with imports totaling $11,138,105.
This indicates a 29.03 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of yarn is $56,514,035, making up 4.05 percent of the total YTD imports.
India
India contributed $9,992,832 worth of yarn in June.
Notably, India experienced a -28.50 percent month-on-month decrease.
India’s year-to-date total for these imports is $77,460,055, accounting for 5.55 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Thailand
Thailand rounded out the top five import sources with $8,961,853 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 31.55 percent month-on-month increase.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $52,904,223, representing 3.79 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
