In June 2025, the top five sources by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of textile, leather and footwear materials and auxiliaries were:
China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $346,776,013.
This represents a -5.80 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $2,094,138,060, accounting for 58.62 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $42,489,617.
This figure indicates a -8.84 percent month-on-month change.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $227,903,750, representing 6.38 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
USA
The USA secured the third position in June with imports totaling $37,200,065.
This indicates a -1.74 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of textile, leather and footwear materials and auxiliaries is $217,600,713, making up 6.09 percent of the total YTD imports.
Thailand
Thailand contributed $29,268,275 worth of textile, leather and footwear materials and auxiliaries in June.
Notably, Thailand experienced a 5.95 percent month-on-month increase.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $165,636,797, accounting for 4.64 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Taiwan
Taiwan rounded out the top five import sources with $26,725,409 in June imports.
This country saw a -11.58 percent month-on-month decrease.
Taiwan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $179,371,386, representing 5.02 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
