This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $2,080,607,406.
In June 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s yarn exports were:
China
China remained the dominant destination in June, with export values reaching $169,420,327.
This represents a 7.24 percent month-on-month increase from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $953,560,130, accounting for 45.83 percent of all YTD yarn exports.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest destination, with June exports valued at $27,036,432.
This figure indicates a -6.60 percent month-on-month change.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $186,663,738, representing 8.97 percent of the total YTD yarn exports.
USA
The USA secured the third position in June with exports totaling $21,031,454.
This indicates a -17.81 percent month-on-month decrease.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s yarn exports is $118,279,546, making up 5.68 percent of the total YTD exports.
Bangladesh
Bangladesh contributed $15,359,137 worth of yarn in June.
Notably, Bangladesh experienced a 4.34 percent month-on-month increase.
Bangladesh’s year-to-date total for these exports is $85,764,877, accounting for 4.12 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Japan
Japan rounded out the top five export destinations with $9,035,786 in June exports.
This country saw a 3.83 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $51,844,541, representing 2.49 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
