Vietnam’s textiles and garments exports saw a strong increase in June 2025, reaching $3,597,082,189, a 9.45 percent increase compared to May 2025, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a significant year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $18,668,777,975.
In June 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s textiles and garments exports were:
USA
The USA remained the dominant destination in June, with export values reaching $1,748,063,335.
This represents an 11.40 percent month-on-month change from May.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $8,471,021,494, accounting for 45.38 percent of all YTD textiles and garments exports.
The US continues to be Vietnam’s largest customer for textiles and garments.
Japan
Japan followed as the second-largest destination, with June exports valued at $384,864,678.
This figure indicates a 19.80 percent month-on-month change.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $2,111,573,694, representing 11.31 percent of the total YTD textiles and garments exports.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in June with exports totaling $168,903,483.
This indicates a 20.71 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s textiles and garments exports is $1,336,297,493, making up 7.16 percent of the total YTD exports.
Netherlands
The Netherlands contributed $136,256,131 worth of textiles and garments in June.
Notably, the Netherlands experienced a -9.50 percent month-on-month decrease.
The Netherlands’ year-to-date total for these exports is $636,166,491, accounting for 3.41 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Canada
Canada rounded out the top five export destinations with $127,552,175 in June exports.
This country saw a 6.29 percent month-on-month increase.
Canada’s year-to-date total for these exports is $585,865,729, representing 3.14 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
