China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $829,265,761.
This represents a -18.73 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $5,163,187,367, accounting for 68.46 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $131,113,574.
This figure indicates a 4.31 percent month-on-month change.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $713,846,112, representing 9.47 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Taiwan
Taiwan secured the third position in June with imports totaling $112,949,347.
This indicates a -17.77 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of fabrics is $785,331,125, making up 10.41 percent of the total YTD imports.
Japan
Japan contributed $65,407,671 worth of fabrics in June.
Notably, Japan experienced a -4.00 percent month-on-month decrease.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $357,653,107, accounting for 4.74 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Thailand
Thailand rounded out the top five import sources with $17,988,982 in June imports.
This country saw a -9.30 percent month-on-month decrease.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $116,653,070, representing 1.55 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
