Australia was the top origin in July, with import values reaching $21,099,453.
This represents a -18.63 percent month-on-month decrease from June.
Australia’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $223,812,045, accounting for 25.51 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Canada
Canada followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $20,777,221.
This figure indicates a -3.21 percent month-on-month decrease.
Canada’s year-to-date total for these imports is $98,789,438, representing 11.26 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Ukraine
Ukraine secured the third position in July with imports totaling $16,540,548.
This indicates a -42.89 percent month-on-month decrease.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of wheat is $65,233,169, making up 7.44 percent of the total YTD imports.
USA
The USA contributed $1,831,716 worth of wheat in July.
Notably, the USA experienced a significant -84.63 percent month-on-month decrease.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $106,791,761, accounting for 12.17 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Other
The “Other” category rounded out the top five import origins with $96,144 in July imports.
This category saw a 353.32 percent month-on-month increase.
The year-to-date total for this category is $87,345,682, representing 9.96 percent of the total YTD imports.
