This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $605,124,240.
In July 2025, the top five origins by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of insecticides and rodenticides were:
China
China was the top origin in July, with import values reaching $35,659,485.
This represents a -11.64 percent month-on-month decrease from June.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $269,131,804, accounting for 44.48 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
India
India followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $12,516,490.
This figure indicates a significant 69.89 percent month-on-month increase.
India’s year-to-date total for these imports is $76,848,842, representing 12.70 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in July with imports totaling $12,019,453.
This indicates a substantial 133.69 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of insecticides and rodenticides is $56,447,548, making up 9.33 percent of the total YTD imports.
Germany
Germany contributed $7,349,966 worth of these products in July.
Notably, Germany experienced a -23.02 percent month-on-month decrease.
Germany’s year-to-date total for these imports is $41,195,522, accounting for 6.81 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Singapore
Singapore rounded out the top five import origins with $3,794,700 in July imports.
This country saw a 21.75 percent month-on-month increase.
Singapore’s year-to-date total for these imports is $31,881,027, representing 5.27 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
