Singapore emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $274,867,154.
This represents a 132.79 percent month-on-month change from May.
Singapore’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $1,391,044,501, accounting for 41.07 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $178,115,729.
This figure indicates a 39.21 percent month-on-month change.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $852,789,832, representing 25.18 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Malaysia
Malaysia secured the third position in June with imports totaling $148,903,705.
This indicates a 37.72 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of petroleum products is $488,040,216, making up 14.41 percent of the total YTD imports.
China
China contributed $57,381,860 worth of petroleum products in June.
Notably, China experienced a -36.80 percent month-on-month decrease.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports is $471,623,442, accounting for 13.92 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Thailand
Thailand rounded out the top five import sources with $13,951,396 in June imports.
This country saw a -1.09 percent month-on-month decrease.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $68,321,849, representing 2.02 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
