China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $122,440,168.
This represents a 9.62 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $626,746,393, accounting for 55.06 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Taiwan
Taiwan followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $35,618,180.
This figure indicates a -11.92 percent month-on-month change.
Taiwan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $258,401,237, representing 22.70 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Japan
Japan secured the third position in June with imports totaling $6,318,342.
This indicates a 15.03 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of still image, video cameras and parts thereof is $39,991,520, making up 3.51 percent of the total YTD imports.
Thailand
Thailand contributed $6,015,186 worth of still image, video cameras and parts thereof in June.
Notably, Thailand experienced a -14.29 percent month-on-month decrease.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $31,824,857, accounting for 2.80 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
South Korea
South Korea rounded out the top five import sources with $3,119,576 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 20.00 percent month-on-month increase.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $16,305,145, representing 1.43 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
