Vietnam’s tea exports saw an increase in June 2025, reaching $19,996,040, a 7.18 percent increase compared to May 2025 according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
This positive month-on-month change contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category standing at $96,490,879.
In June 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s tea exports were:
Pakistan
Pakistan emerged as the top destination in June, with export values reaching $8,284,983.
This represents an 18.84 percent month-on-month change from May.
Pakistan’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $34,439,440, accounting for 35.69 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
Taiwan
Taiwan followed as the second-largest destination, with June exports valued at $3,070,501.
This figure indicates a 26.60 percent month-on-month change.
Taiwan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $10,964,124, representing 11.36 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
Other
The “Other” category secured the third position in June with exports totaling $2,546,182.
This indicates an 11.63 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s tea exports is $12,815,657, making up 13.28 percent of the total YTD exports.
China
China contributed $1,600,051 worth of tea in June.
Notably, China experienced a -23.06 percent month-on-month decrease.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports is $9,368,219, accounting for 9.71 percent of the total YTD tea exports.
Russia
Russia rounded out the top five export destinations with $952,124 in June exports.
This country saw a 22.45 percent month-on-month increase.
Russia’s year-to-date total for these exports is $5,444,164, representing 5.64 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
